Warmth

It was winter. In a small cottage, a young vixen was watching her loved one sleep upon the lounge, one wing draped over the edge, the tip touching the carpet, while one leg twitched, claws sharp. She looked so...peaceful. Plume bit her lip as she continued to watch Sylvera sleep, tilting her head to the side. Her ears twitched, and she gave a little shiver. The snow outside and cold seemed to be relentless, and the wind battered at the windows, rattling them. Plume thought about getting a blanket to cover her mate with, but decided against it, with a flush, thinking that body heat would make her warm. She gently laid herself against Sylverá's body, and let out a little gasp as the dragoness reached over with a wing to snuggle her close, purring deeply as it resonated from her throat. The purring vibrated Plume's backside, and she gave a little start. Eyes wide and nose twitching, she snuggled a little closer, wriggling. Swearing that she could feel her smile, she mewled a little as Sylvera put her chin upon her head, wrapping herself around her more.

As the fire crackled and roared, spitting out ash and sparks, lighting up the cozy room, Plume drifted off to sleep, only to be woken by little nibbles on her neck and ears, and she gave a whine, turning her head to stare into her mate's eyes. She blinked rapidly. "S-Syvl...?"

"Yes, dear one~?" Sylverá purred softly, nuzzling into her neck as the vixen gave a little squeak.

"Y-you were awake the whole time, w-weren't you?"

She heard the elder female give a soft snort, and squeaked as another nuzzle was given. "I was, indeed~"

The vixen flushed crimson, mumbled something about being gullible and wrapped herself further in her mate's wing, snuggling and wriggling against her soft, fluffy body. Winter was the best season for snuggles, and Plume always loved the moments she could spend with Sylvera - she always treasured them dearly.
